CRITICAL CARE PHENOTYPING
Subtype classifier.
Assign a research subtype for critically ill adults with NSTEMI and acute kidney injury.
Prepare your inputs 24-hour window
Use the 24 hours preceding the first qualifying AKI diagnosis in the ICU. Enter the mean of available measurements for laboratory tests, vital signs and respiratory parameters. Use admission age and the medication/culture definitions shown below.
All 50 values are required in the specified units. Missing values are not imputed here; do not substitute zero for an unknown value. The study population excluded end-stage renal disease.
Model & input definitions
Fixed study model
The tool uses the final two-component SNMF/L basis from the NSTEMI–AKI study. The same 50 features and fixed categorical boundaries are used. Nonnegative least squares projects each input profile onto the fixed basis; the larger coefficient determines the cluster.
Original model fitting: 50 runs, seed 123. This page does not refit the model, estimate mortality risk or generate a probability of cluster membership.
Before classification
Enter admission age and recorded sex. Antibiotic treatment means any treatment overlapping the observation window. The culture indicator uses specimens collected in that window. Norepinephrine-equivalent dose is the cumulative amount in mg over the window, not an infusion rate.
All other inputs use the mean across recorded measurements in the window. FiO₂ must be entered as a percentage. Complete inputs are required; cohort-level KNN imputation is not performed by this tool.
